Is Samui Water Park worth it for families?
Yes for families with younger children, less clear for families with teenagers. The park is clean, well run, and reasonable value at this end of the market, with a strong setup for young kids, though the slide selection skews young and older children may run out of things to do within an hour or two.

Entry is 1,250 THB for adults and 100 THB for children under 90cm.
The park has a splash park area, a wave pool, small slides for toddlers, a medium tier, and a handful of bigger slides for older children and adults. This is not a Universal Studios-style park - anyone expecting big thrill slides should adjust expectations. The slide range is built around younger families rather than teenagers.
The wave pool is a non-event rather than a highlight, but the rest of the park more than makes up for it. There was no queuing anywhere on site, even on a weekend. The park was clean and well maintained throughout, with friendly, helpful staff and better-than-average food.
For families with children under around 8, the splash park and smaller slides give a genuinely good half or full day out. Plenty to do, no waiting around, and an easy place to relax. For families with teenagers, the limited number of bigger slides and the entry price are worth weighing against how long older children will realistically stay entertained.
Good for: Families with children under around 8, looking for a clean, relaxed, well-staffed water park without big crowds.
Think twice if: Your children are teenagers expecting thrill rides, or you need a full day's entertainment from one attraction.
